An Erasmus+ project that offers a series of workshops for Vocational Education and Training (VET), on the topic of natural​ disasters as a result of climate change and especially concentrated on protection from flash floods​ Through PROFF, VET teachers, VET students and VET organizations will have at their disposal innovative digital tools and an augmented reality app​

OBJECTIVES


To increase the awareness about the impact of climate change to natural disasters​

To increase the use of STEAM methodology in VET education​​

To train the teachers on how to apply STEAM and use Augmented Reality in teaching and learning

TARGET GROUPS


Workshops and an augmented reality application will be used to train both VET students and VET teachers (organizations which provide VET education in general)​. The main target groups are:

  • VET students​
  • VET schools at secondary level, teachers ​
  • VET organizations of post secondary level​

VET teachers will build their capacity on using innovative teaching methods and digital tools in the classroom, students will learn about climate change and the effects of natural disasters. Project results include a series of workshops on “Climate change and protection from natural disasters”, which VET teachers can use in their classes.
